These terms set the ground rules for using New World Map and its educational material.
Educational use
New World Map is provided for education and general information. It is not a navigation service, survey instrument, legal boundary authority or source of professional geographic advice. Do not use screen measurements for safety-critical navigation or legal determinations.
Accuracy and boundaries
We work to explain projection behaviour accurately and cite the source of important claims, but datasets change and simplified world-scale boundaries contain omissions. Names, boundaries and designations do not imply an official position or endorsement. Verify important decisions against the relevant authority.
Permitted use
You may link to public pages and share links produced by the comparison tool. Site text, visual design, software and original graphics may not be republished as a competing product or presented as your own without permission. Third-party datasets and libraries remain subject to their own terms and licences.
External services and advertising
Links, share tools, Google Analytics and Google AdSense are operated in whole or in part by third-party providers. Advertising content does not represent an endorsement by New World Map. We do not control the availability, claims or privacy practices of advertisers or external websites.
Availability and liability
The site is provided on an ‘as available’ basis. We may correct, update or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, New World Map is not liable for losses arising from reliance on the site, inability to access it or use of third-party links. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
